Yeastar K2 IP-PBX

Yeastar have released their K2 IP-PBX for the large business or the hosted market.

Based on a Dell R230 1U server with single Xeon processor and 8GB of memory, the Yeastar K2 can support up to 2000 extensions, 400 SIP channels and 500 concurrent calls. Up to 500 extensions can be the Linkus mobile client for iOS and Android. Legacy analogue and digital lines, analogue extensions and GSM channels can be supported using external gateways.

Key features are multiple Meet-me conferences and call recording all without additional licensing along with all the other features you would expect in a modern phone system.

Following on from the smaller S-Series auto provision is also supported allowing phones from Yeastar, Cisco, Polycom, Avaya, Snom and Fanvil to be configured as they are plugged in to cut installation time.

For resiliency, two Yeastar K2’s can be linked in a high availability configuration so if one fails the other can take over and all the SIP trunks and any external gateways will fail over as well.

The Yeastar K2 has the same ease of management via the web-based interface. Users can easily access their call history, call recordings, voicemails and configure their personalised settings through a web portal.
